David Phelps is an incredible artist ... and my personal favorite.
On our episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, David came and did a benefit concert for our family. Since the first time I heard him sing, he has been my favorite. I have had such great respect for him as a musician; musically, he can't be topped - his voice is the best there is and God has blessed him abundantly in the talent area (writing, arranging, harmonization - it's amazing). But, let me also tell you how he has touched our lives. He's not just a musician - famous and talented. He is an amazing person, who loves the Lord and wants to glorify Him in all that he does. I have been so impressed with his integrity and I respect him even more for his care, concern, and genuine love for people.
David also came as a surprise for Kayla on The Montel Williams Show episode "Miraculous Kids." Her eyes lit up like never before, being granted her wish of meeting David in person. David, his wonderful manager Jim Chaffee, and his team, Chaffee Management, made it possible for us to attend the live taping of his upcoming Christmas DVD - Kayla and Josh had never before had the chance to hear him in person. I've never experienced anything more incredible than that concert!
